End of First Week-Kitchen remodel

Pretty Can lights in the ceiling. The warped and bulging ceiling is fixed! Yeah! Notice the big plastic sheet across. We've dealt with three days of sheetrock sanding and dust.... it's EVERYWHERE! Ugh!



Sheet rock done in the following two photos. It's looking good! Still lots of demo to do.... take out kitchen sink, carpeting, vanity in bathroom, etc.

This was the messiest day.... insulation EVERYWHERE while they were trying to fix the warped ceiling. We were all gagging and coughing.

Wonderful Week!

BYU Women's Conference was another wonderful uplifting time! My 3 daughters made me laugh over at over again, (sometimes at my expense) but what fun!

Being a Grandma is the BEST! Lucky us... Laura & Ella came to visit us for a week. Ella LOVES books, especially the way her Mom reads them to her.



We had a fun day at the Zoo! Ella on her first carousel ride!



All Aboard! With Christopher and Kylie off track, I had a glorious day with 4 grandkids and a daughter at the Zoo!

Draper Temple Open House

Most of our family was able to go and enjoy the Draper Temple on Martin Luther King Day (a week ago). We missed Dave, (who had to work) and Mike & Laura's family in Indiana. The temple was extremely beautiful, with gorgeous wood, glass, paintings and a very awesome spirit there. Janie really enjoyed the open house in her snugli, so did her parents--Mark and Sariah.

January

Jon as Lemuel in Cumorah's Hill play. You can see half of the scenery we made in background. We sang in the choir and the powerful music still plays in our mind a week later. This was a real stretch for both of us but a great learning experience. We felt the guidance of the Lord in even the little things.
